About Us

Zach:

Zach is a senior at Henry M. Gunn High School who has studied Marine Biology during the 2015-2016 school year.  He once had a goldfish that lived for nine years (and a few goldfish that did not live so long) and visits the Monterey Bay Aquarium at least a few times a year.  He looks forward to bringing a work ethic, good attitude, and math skills to his ROV team.  He is looking most forward to the newfound, useful robotics information that he will obtain throughout this project.

Trent Tosky:

Trent is a senior at Henry M. Gunn High school who is currently studying Marine Biology. Trent can contribute to the ROV project by demonstrating his mechanical skills and following the directions well. Trent is most excited about building the ROV. He has always liked building things, especially something like an ROV.  

Lindsay:

Lindsay has been studying marine bio with Mrs. S. for the 2015-2016 year. She loves going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and has gone back since the class field trip. She is good at staying on task and encouraging teammates to do the same, as well as making sure everything is done by the deadline. She is excited to try to build an ROV, as she has had no prior experience with engineering.

Ethan Christenson: 
Ethan is currently a senior at Gunn High School and has been studying Marine Biology for the 2015-2016 school year. Ethan brings leadership abilities and good building skills that will help his team. Ethan is the most excited for putting the ROV together, and he enjoys seeing everything come together!
